Catherine uses a Gelli plate to print her dramatic floral compositions onto fabric and paper, layering patterns and colours in a unique and original way. She then highlights the surface with hand and machine stitching, old vintage lace or iron-on transfers. Using real garden foliage such as ferns and ivy leaves, being two of the best plants for printing, she makes beautiful one-off pieces.
