Dan Ash’s work is ceramic sculpture made from slabs of stoneware clay which is twice fired up to 1240c. Mostly simple elegant shapes, some are bird like in a style and others are based on primitive Venus/fertility figures. There are also a number of planters and vessels. The statues are usually mounted on stone or wooden plinths.
